ABOUT ME
I make homes. I am the author of the Affordable Housing Toolkit, founder of Wandering Pavilion and Same House—Better Homes projects. With a background in architecture, craft, and property management, I deeply understand the many aspects that come together to make a home. I have completed a needs assessment in a remote Northern community, designed a young parents resource centre, completed countless feasibility studies for individuals and non-profits partners, written dozens of successful grant applications and cared for affordable homes. I hold a Masters in Architecture from Dalhousie University where I studied housing and community culminating in a thesis titled Building a Neighbourhood. I am the founder, creative director and scent designer at Yorabode—a company that crafts natural home goods supporting wellbeing. I am currently building up my technical knowledge of contemporary design details in wood frame construction by completing an internship with unArchitecture ltd.
